The Bank of Jamaica (BOJ) head offices at Nethersole Place in downtown Kingston are closed to the public today to facilitate necessary emergency repairs to the building.

The BOJ has activated its Essential Services Protocol to continue providing core services to the financial markets during the closure. In that regard, a separate notice has been sent to financial markets participants.

As a result of the closure, there will be no Teller Services offered to the public and there will be a postponement of the Lunch Hour Concert. The resumption of normal operations is anticipated on Monday, December 30, 2024.

The Central Bank says the new date for its Lunch Hour Concert will be announced shortly while expressing apologies for any inconvenience that this closure may cause.
