Event to be hosted by Chuck Fender and Little John
Lesbert ‘Pablo’ Thomas, proprietor of Mongoose Restaurant and Lounge in Ocho Rios, St Ann, will on October 1 celebrate his birthday in style when he stages Life is Just for Living, featuring two of Jamaica’s top sound systems, Bass Odyssey and Stone Love in concert.
The retro, all-white themed event features ’80s and ’90s music, with two of the top artistes from that era, Little John and Chuck Fender, hosting the party.
Sponsored by Guinness, The Release, and Kloset Expansion, the event will also feature resident selector, DJ Jabba.
“Saturday night is going to be my earthstrong celebration and it’s not just for me, it’s actually for all the people born in September, October, all the brands,” said Pablo.
“So, all the brands need to come out and just join hands and party with Pablo. It’s going to be a party like no other, Stone Love, Bass Odyssey, Chuck Fender and Little John. All-white, all-night, it’s going to be nice,” he added.
Upcoming events at Mongoose include Champagne and Babes on October 15 and Toast, the annual New Year’s Eve all-white party.
In addition, the live band party returns on October 8.
