University student platform and youth marketing agency Campus Elite Jamaica is expanding into Western Jamaica next month, with the launch of Campus Elite West.

This expansion aims to bring Campus Elite’s student-networking and career development opportunities to the University of the West Indies (UWI) Mona Western Jamaica Campus (WJC), the University of Technology (UTech) Western Campus, and the Montego Bay Community College.

With Campus Elite West, students in Western Jamaica will gain access to events, internship opportunities, mentorship and job placement programmes, job placements and professional development workshops.

Speaking with Our Today, Campus Elite CEO Sandre Malcolm explained that expanding into Western Jamaica comes from a desire to further tap into the work potential of young people in Jamaica.

“With our expansion to the western region, we aim to provide students residing there with the tools, resources, and network they need to excel in their academic pursuits and beyond. We already see immense talent emerging from Western institutions and we want to tap into that potential,” said Malcolm.

Campus Elite West has partnered with Guardian Life, Caribbean Producers Jamaica (CPJ), and Cocomania rum under the J. Wray and Nephew brand.

Campus Elite West’s official launch will take place at the UWI Mona WJC campus in October 2024, followed by introductory events at UTech Western and Montego Bay Community College.
