The popular Jamaica destination will also see the addition of non-stop flights to/from Grand Cayman this summer from June 23 through September 8.
The summer flight schedule has flight KX2612 departing Grand Cayman at 7:35 am and arriving in Montego Bay at 8:35 am. Then flight KX2613 departs Montego Bay at 9:35 am and arrives back in Grand Cayman at 10:30 am.
Cayman Airways has confirmed that due to changes in Jamaican security policies affecting all airports in Jamaica, including Sangster International Airport (MBJ), passengers on flights are required to deplane during mandatory security checks.

This policy rendered impractical the previous arrangement of a combined Montego Bay/Kingston flight whereby passengers continuing on to another stop in Jamaica could remain onboard.
In response, the airline has instead offered seasonal and ad-hoc services while actively exploring various solutions to address the issue. Passengers can book tickets online at www.caymanairways.com.
