

American coach Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United today (August 21) pulled off a shock 3-0 English Premier League victory over Chelsea amid an exhuberant Elland Road home crowd.
Chelsea ended with 10 men after Kalidou Koulibaly was slapped with an 84th-minute red card in match that saw two goals in five first-half minutes.
The opening goal came from American Brenden Aaronson in the 33rd minute after an error from Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy. It was Aaronson’s first Premier League goal.

Rodrigo would minutes later head in his fourth goal of the season to make it 2-0 ahead of the second half.
Leeds put the game away in the 69th minute through Jack Harrison.
With its second victory from three matches to start the season, Leeds climbed to second in the standings, while Chelsea dropped to 12th with its first loss of the new campaign.
