Two luxury Ennismore brands are coming to Montego Bay, marking parent company Accor Group’s deepening presence in Jamaica.
The two specific Ennismore brands have not yet been announced but Accor and Ennismore are partnering with LCH Development to build four towers that will include a 240-key luxury hotel, as well as 417 luxury residences and 12 private villas. The US $450 million project will be part of The Pinnacle, a new upscale hospitality complex on Reading Peninsula in Montego Bay.
This collaboration will elevate The Pinnacle project and herald a new era of luxury lifestyle hospitality on the island. In October 2021, Ennismore, a forerunner in the lifestyle space with hotel, resort, and coworking brands, formed a joint venture with Accor, formally completing the creation of the world’s largest and fastest-growing lifestyle hospitality company.
The new entity brings together Ennismore’s know-how in building brands with purpose through creative storytelling, design and authentic experiences with Accor’s wealth of knowledge in delivering scale, network growth and distribution.
Ennismore expanding presence in the Caribbean
Head of Americas for Ennismore, Phil Zrihen today declared, “We’re excited to expand Ennismore’s presence in the Caribbean through this visionary project. This partnership reflects our commitment to bringing culturally rich, lifestyle-driven hospitality to new destinations with the support of local partners who align with our values.”
The project reaffirms Ennismore’s commitment to growing in the Americas, a crucial growth focus for the group. Construction has already begun on the project’s first two towers.
Guests of The Pinnacle properties will have access to private clubs, state-of-the-art wellness centres, global culinary experiences, and dedicated concierge. An opening date and further details on the hotel have yet to be released.
Chief Operating Officer of LCH Development, Tanya Golaub comments, “This partnership with Ennismore and Accor marks a pivotal milestone for The Pinnacle. This collaboration provides a unique opportunity for Jamaica, through The Pinnacle, to enter the branded residence market, supported by the world’s second-largest branded residence operator. This sets a new benchmark for luxury in Jamaica, significantly contributing to and enhancing Jamaica’s position as a premier global destination.”
