With summer just around the corner, GraceKennedy Group launched four cool and refreshing flavour-forward sparkles under its Zesti product line that will not only rejuvenate consumers at an affordable cost but also highlight four Jamaicans whose characteristics the company strongly believes match each flavour.
Grace’s Zesti sparkling drink brand left the shelves over a decade ago, but never left the hearts of the consumer and with in mind, the company set out to bring back “an era of intentional-living”, relaunching Zesti on Thursday, June 12 at the scenic and stunning terrace at the headquarters of GraceKennedy in downtown Kingston.
The new flavours, said to be made with joy in every bottle, are peach passion, strawberry melon, lemon ginger and pineapple kiwi, which the century-old company believes will resonate best with consumers.

Each has also been characterised and matched with a social media influencer and digital content creators from Jamaica. Peach passion is characterised as charismatic with Andre Skeen; strawberry melon as playful as Thunder Tv, lemon ginger as bold as Kristia Franklin and pineapple kiwi as confident as Gabrielle Waite.
At the relaunch event, Allawney Bromley, senior brand manager, GraceKennedy outlined why the company made the move to invest in a relaunch of the Zesti brand and also in four new buzzing fruit flavours made from home-grown crops.

“It’s more than just a new product. It’s about introducing a new vibe—one that is cool, confident, fun and made to be enjoyed during your best moments, whether you’re hanging out with your friends, dancing to your favourite song or just sipping something light, fruity and effervescent after a long day,” Bromley said.
“Grace Zesti is not just a drink. It is a feeling, an attitude and a mood. Each flavour has its own unique personality. For the bold and the classy among us, we see you [as] lemon ginger. You are confident, poised and always on point. For the fun lovers and the free spirits, strawberry melon is your match. Playful, spontaneous and full of contagious energy. Pineapple kiwi brings a smooth, laid back vibe, confident and effortlessly stylish, and, for those who light up every room, you are [the] peach passion [flavour]—the charismatic and charming life of the party,” she said.

For the influencers, they too believe that they each embody and match the flavour and the respective colours aligned with them.
“I am vibe, and I’m Mr Charismatic, so we just go hand-in-hand,” Andre said.
Thunder Tv quipped, “They said [my flavour] is playful, but I think it’s fabulous.”
“My flavour is bold. It’s confident. It’s potency,” Kristia said.
“It’s cool,” Gabrielle said. “It’s confident and it’s stylish.”

Also present was Hansle Parchment, Jamaica’s Olympic medalist in the 110m hurdles and GraceKennedy Ambassador, who expressed his love for three of the flavours he previously tasted.
“It was awesome. It’s Grace. It’s a family company. Grace is always on top of things. I have no doubt that this will be great. It will be well-received and people will really enjoy it,” he said.
