GraceKennedy Limited is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Mr. Ryan Mack, retired Chief Executive Officer of GK Foods Domestic, whose legacy of excellence and dedicated service spanned nearly three decades.

Mr. Mack joined GraceKennedy in 1991 as a Finance Project Officer. His talent and commitment saw him rise steadily through the ranks of the Group. He was appointed the first General Manager of the newly formed World Brands in 2002, where he laid the foundation for the subsidiary’s enduring success. Throughout his tenure, he served in several key leadership capacities, including Managing Director of Grace Foods (UK) Limited and Deputy CEO of GK Foods. He ultimately retired in 2019 as CEO of GK Foods Domestic, having played a pivotal role in the strategic direction of the company’s local food operations.

“Ryan served GraceKennedy with commitment and distinction, and he was a pivotal figure in my own professional development,” said Frank James, GraceKennedy Group CEO, and former CEO of GK Foods Domestic.

“He played a vital role in preparing me to lead GK Foods Domestic, generously sharing the wisdom he gained over decades. His contribution to growing the Grace brand was invaluable, yet it was his dedication to the values of our GK family and his investment in the next generation of leaders that truly defined his legacy. He was a statesman of our industry whose vision will continue to guide us,” James reflected.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr Mack was well-loved among the GK team. He was known for a leadership style that prioritised building genuine, personal connections with customers and team members at every level. He understood that success is not just about results, but about how those results are achieved and who he mentored and developed along the way. His colleagues remember him not only as a visionary leader but as a friend whose impact on GK remains profound.

GraceKennedy extends its heartfelt condolences to the Mack family and all those who loved and worked with him.
