Improves immune system

Guava is loaded with Vitamin C, a water-soluble vitamin critical for strengthening the immune system. This critical micro nutrient supports multiple cellular functions of the body’s adaptive immune systems.

Containing two times more vitamin c than oranges, guava is able to help protect one from common infections and pathogens.

Helps with digestion

An excellent source of dietary fibre, consuming guavas can result in healthy bowel movement, prevent constipation and keep other digestive issues at bay.

The potassium found in the fruit can help fight acidity and heartburn.

Lowers risk of anaemia

A lack of iron is the most common reason for anaemia. Guava which is rich in vitamin C can lower one’s chances of developing anaemia, as the Vitamin C helps the body to absorb iron.

Controls cholesterol

High cholesterol levels have often been linked to a high risk of cardiovascular disease. This can include stroke, coronary heart disease and peripheral vascular disease.

Fibre found in guava can help to keep cholesterol levels under control.
