Access Financial Services Limited (AFS) is announcing new executive appointments, chief among them being Hugh Campbell, who has officially been promoted to chief executive officer (CEO) effective Monday (June 19).
Catherine Thomas and Brian Salmon are the other executive appointments.
The company, in a statement, noted that Campbell held the role of acting CEO from lasty December to June 18. Prior to his appointment as acting CEO, Campbell held the role of collections and internal control manager, a position that he has held since June 2016, when he commenced his employment with AFS.
Campbell holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of the West Indies and a first degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Technology. He also has 28 years of experience in the financial sector.
Meanwhile, Thomas was promoted to the position of vice-president of operations and credit, which is also effective as of June 19, 2023. Her previous job title was manager of operations and credit.
For Salmon, he was promoted to vice-president of finance and chief financial officer, a hierarchal bump up from his previous role as financial controller.
