The highly anticipated Appleton Estate Camp Porti, a weekend of vibes, iconic views and irresistible flavour, highlighted the most iconic locations the tropical paradise Portland has to offer for the Easter weekend.

With several events already lined up to take place between April 18 and 21 in the ultimate escape to Jamaica’s most picturesque parish, such as NightCap, Appleton Estate Reserve Experience, Paradis – Golden Hour, NightCap Too, Pickleball Open Court, Sundance – Beach Soiree and The Collective at The Trident Spa, PJ Wright, co-founder, Wright Image Hospitality, and curator of Camp Porti outlined in a recent interview that this one-of-a-kind weekend experience promises an unforgettable blend of scenic adventure, high-energy parties, and authentic Jamaican flavour — all set against the lush, vibrant backdrop of Portland.

“Known for its natural beauty and laid-back vibe, Portland will transform into a playground of curated experiences, from daytime chill-outs to electrifying night-time fêtes. Camp Porti is more than an event — it’s a movement that celebrates culture, connection, and the carefree essence of island life,” Wright said.

The series of this year’s edition will unfold across some of Portland’s most iconic attractions and hidden gems, including GeeJam Beach, the Trident Castle, Goblin Hill Villas at San San and Frenchmen’s Cove.

From Trident Hotel to Geejam Beach and Frenchmen’s Cove, patrons will flow in between sunrise wellness rituals, rum tastings, high-style sunset gatherings, barefoot dancing and beachside brunches.

The Appleton Estate Reserve Experience was held at the Trident Castle on April 19 and lived up to expectations of a premium food and drink inclusive event, but only for patrons with a Camp Porti camp pass.

Adding the perfect pour to the weekend, Appleton Estate infused each event with Jamaica’s finest aged rums and cocktail culture. Dominic Bell, communications manager at J. Wray & Nephew Limited, said guests sipped, savoured and celebrated the spirit of Jamaica with every toast.

“We’re proud to partner with Camp Porti, bringing our premium rums to an event that reflects the soul of Jamaica — vibrant, bold and unforgettable. It will be one of Jamaica’s most memorable holiday weekend escapes, and everyone should come for the views, stay for the vibes and live the Porti life in the moment,” said Bell.

Camp Porti invites both locals and travellers to explore Portland through a new lens — where every moment is curated, every location iconic, and every drink poured with purpose.
