Creative and digital training outfit, iCreate has onboarded two new high-profile executives as it propels with its reorganisation and name change.
They are Rochelle Burnett, who has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately and legal finance and investment management expert, Dr Nick Rowles-Davies. Burnett brings over a decade of experience in the digital and creative industries with a strong background in operations and project management while Dr Rowles-Davies has joined the Board of Directors, effective September 9, 2024.
He will also assume the roles of Chairman of the Corporate Governance Committee and Chairman of the Investment Committee. Their appointment is critical to the planned transition from iCreate Limited to Kintyre Holdings (JA) Limited in the push to build a world-class diversified investment holding company.
Burnett’s credentials
Burnett’s career has included leadership roles at Tiny Robot Solutions, Muse 360 Integrated Limited, and Toucan Limited, where she managed major projects for leading brands such as Guinness, Heineken, GraceKennedy, and Grupo Campari. As a skilled project manager and operations expert, Burnett has led cross-functional initiatives, implementing systems that have significantly improved efficiency across iCreate’s subsidiaries.
Her operational expertise and focus on innovation have been instrumental in streamlining workflows, optimizing performance, and driving strategic growth. In her current role as COO, Burnett will oversee the corporate and operational activities of iCreate, ensuring that all business units align with the company’s strategic objectives.
She plays a key role in implementing new technologies, restructuring business units, and driving operational excellence across the group. The management practitioner will continue into the newly restructured Kintyre Holdings after shareholder approvals, where she will work closely with the CEO and the Board of Directors under the Kintyre umbrella.
Dr Rowles-Davies leadership experience
Dr Rowles-Davies brings over 20 years of leadership experience in legal finance and investment management to his current role at iCreate. In January 2011, he launched Vannin Capital, which quickly became one of the leading international litigation funders.
Under his leadership, Vannin Capital increased its immediately available facility from £25 million to £100 million, making it the largest private equity-backed funder of litigation globally. His career also includes senior roles such as CEO of Lexolent Limited, where he launched the world’s first global legal finance network, and executive vice chairman at Litigation Capital Management Limited, listed on the London Stock Exchange, where he led global origination and successfully completed multiple fundraisers, including an Initial Public Offer at AIM, which is a sub-market of the London Stock Exchange.
As chairman of the Investment Committee, Dr Rowles-Davies will help shape Kintyre Holdings’ investment strategy, ensuring that the company continues to identify opportunities in high-growth sectors globally. His role as chairman of the Corporate Governance Committee will also ensure that Kintyre Holdings upholds the highest standards of governance, transparency, and ethical business practices as it expands operations globally.
Dr Rowles-Davies’ extensive expertise in legal finance and corporate governance, combined with his experience in managing large-scale investments, will be pivotal in driving Kintyre Holdings toward achieving its goal of becoming a leading global investment holding company. iCreate’s founder, Chairman and President, Tyrone Wilson is confident that Dr Rowles-Davies’ leadership will play a key role in the company’s continued success.
