IGL, the Jamaica-based energy company, in light of its global success, has gifted 2023 400m world champion Antonio Watson and his mother with free cooking gas for the next two years.

“It feels great”, he said as the IGL truck pulled up in front of his home to make the delivery.

Peter Graham, managing director at IGL, said, “Like all of Jamaica, we were elated at Antonio’s performance in Budapest; we’ve been tracking his progress and commend his hard work and dedication to excellence. This commitment from IGL is our way of expressing our gratitude on behalf of Jamaica. He has our unwavering support and we look forward to great performances in Paris in 2024 and Tokyo in 2025.”
