Tottenham Hotspur have appointed Igor Tudor as interim head coach until the end of the season following the departure of Thomas Frank.
The club, hovering just five points above the relegation zone, wanted a swift appointment to have a manager in place as players returned to training.
Tudor, 47 has been without a job since leaving Juventus in October 2025 after an eight match winless run left the team eighth in Serie A. His coaching resume spans stints at Lazio, Marseille, Galatasaray, and Udinese, with a reputation for making immediate impacts at struggling teams.
As a player, Tudor enjoyed success with Juventus, winning two Serie A titles and finishing runner up in the 2003 Champions League final. He began and ended his career at Hajduk Split, where he also lifted the Croatian Cup in 2013, his only trophy as a manager. Internationally, he was part of the Croatia squad that finished third at the 1998 World Cup.
Tottenham had considered other short-term candidates, including former Edin Terzic and ex Red Bull Leipzig boss Marco Rose. Tudor could still be considered for a permanent role if he impresses, though former Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino and Roberto De Zerbi are also in the running once their current commitments conclude.
