Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz turned in one of their best displays under Steve McClaren, dispatching Guatemala 3-0 to top Group E of the CONCACAF World Cup qualifier at the National Stadium in St Andrew.
Arnett Gardens’ striker Warner Brown continued to stake a claim with a clinical display, netting two goals in the 37th and 73rd minutes.
Jon Russell had opened the scoring in the 26th minute as the Reggae Boyz finished with maximum 12 points from their four games.

Guatemala, which was losing their first game, finished in second spot on nine points while Dominican Republic finished in third spot on six points after whipping Dominica 5-0.
Both Jamaica and Guatemala were already qualified for the third round of qualifying, and there was no pressure on the Reggae Boyz to deliver, but they did in emphatic style.
Russell eased Jamaica in front, nodding home a Leon Bailey cross to break the deadlock.
Damarai Gray was brought down in the box and the referee awarded a penalty, but Bailey’s poor kick was blocked by the goalkeeper and Brown was quickest to respond, firing home the rebound.
Brown, who scored the winner against the British Virgin Islands on Saturday, notched his second of the night and his fourth goal for Jamaica.

The Reggae Boyz will now wait for Thursday’s draw to know the teams they will meet in the next round.
Teams that have booked their ticket to the 3rd Round of CONCACAF World Cup qualifying are Jamaica, Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador, Haiti, Trinidad and Tobago, Guatemala, Curacao, Nicaragua, Suriname and Bermuda.
Six teams from the Caribbean Football Union and six teams from Central America will make up the 3rd Round of the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers.
