The top four teams in the Wray and Nephew Jamaica Premier League Mount Pleasant, Arnett Gardens, Montego Bay United and Cavalier SC will be vying for two spots in the final and the right to be crowned champions.

Corporate area teams, Cavalier and Arnett Gardens, will clash at 6:00 pm in the curtain raiser at the Catherine Hall Sports Complex on Thursday in St James before home team Montego Bay United tackle Mount Pleasant out of St Ann’s.

Cavalier are the defending champion and should start favourites to beat Arnett Gardens.

They are fresh from their quarterfinal victory over Portmore United and despite not playing at their best, they found a way to win.

Dwayne ‘Busy’ Atkinson dubbed the best player in the Caribbean by his coach Rudolph Speid, will again lead Cavalier from in front and will have to be contained.

Veteran Fabian Reid is the man for Arnett Gardens, and he should be ably assisted by Kimani Arbouine and Jermy Nelson as they push for their first title since 2017.

The second semi-final pits the marauding Mount Pleasant against Montego Bay United in what should be an intense and fascinating game.

Mount Pleasant have brushed everything aside this season and will start as heavy favourites to win it all.

Daniel Green, Chavaugn Walsh, Sue-Lae McCalla, Shaquille Dyer and the Haitian imports of Angelo Exilus, Juedy Johnson, Adreien Flinch, Emerson Liasse and Michael Joseph will cause Montego Bay some problems.

Montego Bay will be depending on Owayne Gordon, Demario Phillips, Jordain Fletcher, Brian Brown and their Brazilian duo of Lucas Lima and Jean Claudio Ferreira for victory.
