Grange leads J’can dignitaries at World Athletics Champs in Budapest

Jamaica’s Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport Olivia Grange is leading the official Jamaican delegation in Budapest, Hungary for World Athletics Championships 2023, along with Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett.
The two have been meeting with officials and sporting dignitaries. Grange presented a bottle of rum from the Jamaica 60 WRAY & NEPHEW Limited Edition, The Parish Collection, to President of World Athletics Lord Sebastian Coe.
She also met with State Minister of Sports from Uganda Peter Ogwang, who was thrilled to discover that Ugandan Athletes have participated in Jamaica’s annual Boys’ and Girls’ Championships (Champs) and expressed a keen interest in learning more about Jamaica’s sports programmes.

He is keen on visiting Jamaica, so Grange extended an invitation, assuring him of Jamaica’s great hospitality. Bartlett also met with Ogwang.
