The Jamaica Millennium Motoring Club (JMMC) congratulates Alex Powell, known as ‘The Jamaican Sensation‘, on his remarkable performance in the final round of the 2025 Formula 4 Middle East Championship. Powell secured two dominant victories at Round 5 of the championship at Lusail International Circuit in Lusail, Doha, capping off a remarkable comeback to claim the Vice-Champion title.
Facing early-season setbacks that left him in the lower half of the top ten standings after the first round, Powell displayed resilience, determination, and world-class racing skill to surge through the field. His final push was nothing short of spectacular, winning five of the last eight races while also securing a second-place and a third-place finish.
Powell’s stellar performances not only earned him the Vice-Champion title but also played a key role in securing the F4 Middle East Team Championship for his team, R.ace GP.
Reflecting on his incredible weekend in Qatar, Powell expressed his excitement, saying: “Two races, two wins, and the Vice-Champion title. From P6 to victory and from pole to win. What a way to close the F4 Middle East Championship!”
R.ace GP also celebrated the team’s success, crediting their drivers and crew for their dedication and perseverance throughout the championship: “Many thanks to our drivers @olivieri_emanuele_official, @alexpowellracing, and everybody in the team for their amazing hard work. These last two months were intense and full of challenges, but we couldn’t have hoped for a better start to the racing season! Let’s keep the momentum going this year!”
The JMMC commends Powell’s outstanding achievement and looks forward to his continued rise in international motorsport. His triumph in the F4 Middle East Championship is a testament to his talent, dedication, and the bright future that lies ahead.
