

Twitch streamer Kai Cenat met Jamaican dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on February 2.
The interaction came as Kartel attended the event following his first-ever Grammy nomination for his EP, Party With Me.
Cenat, known for his influence in the streaming world, was present to cover the event for his audience. Kartel, who was recently granted a US visa for the first time in nearly two decades, made a rare public appearance at the awards.

The meeting between the two drew the attention of fans and industry figures who shared Cenat’s excitement to meeting Vybz Kartel for the very first time.
“Worl’ Boss!” Cenat exclaimed upon greeting the Fever artiste. “Yuh look good y’know my yute! Bro, you don’t understand…Vybz Kartel let me stand here right in front of you and give you your flowers!”

The conversation between the two turned into a networking moment for Cenate who asked to exchange phone numbers with the Worl’ Boss who obliged on the spot.
Though Vybz Kartel did not take home a Grammy that night, he has been sharing positive posts on his Instagram, alongside snapshots of the night.
