Fast food giant KFC is again igniting the Carnival in Jamaica experience as the exclusive quick-service restaurant partner for Xodus and GenXS.

As the two premier carnival bands continue to redefine revelry in the region, KFC is set to elevate the celebration, delivering a fusion of flavour, music, and spectacle for Carnival 2025.

Having been an integral part of the Xodus carnival experience since the band’s inception in 2017 and of the GenXS carnival experience since its launch in 2023, KFC Jamaica reiterated its commitment to the evolution of Carnival in Jamaica, which it called an internationally recognised entertainment and tourism powerhouse.

Through this partnership, KFC will immerse revellers in an unforgettable experience on and off the road with Carnivals’ energy, vibrancy, and unmistakable flavour.

“Carnival is a time of pure expression and enjoyment. KFC is here to amplify that experience and really deliver Carnival with a ‘Krunch’ – which is just our way of describing that unique and distinctive KFC brand impact and identity. Whether through our legendary hot wings, costume packages and event ticket giveaways, our branded music trucks that will be on the road in each carnival band, or the exhilarating and flavourful moments we create for our customers, KFC always strives to provide a truly memorable, unique and rewarding experience for our customers and patrons,” said Andrei Roper, marketing manager at KFC Jamaica.

“The dynamic synergy between KFC, Xodus, and GenXs is built on our shared passion for energy, culture, and celebration. This year we invite all carnival lovers to come out and ‘KRUNCH THE KARNIVAL’ with KFC,” he added.

As part of its commitment to enhancing the carnival experience in 2025, KFC will again have curated sections within Xodus and GenXs, ensuring revellers remain engaged, energised and entertained.

Further amplifying the entertainment landscape, KFC will play a pivotal role in bringing some of the most successful soca talents to Jamaica, including emerging Trinidadian sensation Yung Bredda, who will be a featured act on the KFC GenXs road march experience.

“The KFC x GenXs partnership has been integral to our journey from the very beginning. Now, in our third year, it’s an exciting space as we evolve. At GenXs, we pride ourselves on being an ultra-premium carnival brand, and in the fast-food space, KFC holds that same prestige—it’s the ultimate carnival food brand across the region, and we want to maintain that synergy here in Jamaica,” said GenXs director Kibwe McGann.

“Since partnering with KFC, we have executed these big-deal moments. Last year, we brought Bunji Garlin, and this year, we’re thrilled to feature Yung Bredda as part of the KFC GenXs experience. Year after year, our post-carnival surveys highlight KFC as a standout element for our revellers. We are delighted to extend this incredible partnership with KFC because we are about keeping true to that tradition of Carnival in the Caribbean,” McGann added.

Echoing this sentiment, Xodus project manager Taylor Chung said, “In the same way that Xodus Carnival brings people together annually for a celebration of culture, love and historically, freedom, KFC does this through their food. This made KFC the perfect addition to the Xodus Xperience for the past few years and we intend to maintain this relationship for the foreseeable future.”
