
The highly anticipated Caribbean fashion design competition Mission Catwalk, which is hosted and exeutively produced by Keenea Linton George, is making a grand return to television screens after a four-year hiatus.
Season 7, which will premiere on Television Jamaica (TVJ) in September, promises to be bigger, better, and more captivating than ever before, as talented designers from across the region showcase their creativity and appreciation for the art form.
With the fashion world evolving at an unprecedented pace, this year, Mission Catwalk aims to tackle the latest industry trends and challenges head-on through a series of thrilling and interactive design challenges. A total of 12 exceptionally talented designers will compete against each other, pushing their creative boundaries and showcasing their unique styles.
This Mission Catwalk season seven premieres on Saturday, September 30 at 8:30 pm on TVJ.
The winner of Mission Catwalk will receive J$4 million in cash and prizes:

- A chance to show collection at Paris Fashion Week valued at J$1,500,000.
- J$500,000 cash prize
- Industrial sewing equipment valued at J$300,000
- Photo shoot with renowned fashion photographer valued at J$200,000;
- Print media advertising package valued at J $500,000.
- Scholarship to pursue fashion programme at the University of Technology (UTech)
This season, the competition will culminate in a battle royale fashion showdown at the iconic Devon House in St Andrew.
In addition to Linton-George, Carlton Brown, Menswear Designer, and Novia McDonald-Whyte, Senior Associate Editor of the Jamaica Observer with serve as judges.
Matthew Harris, the artist behind Mateo-New York Jewellery will serve as the series’ mentor. Harris is a fashion and jewelry designer whose line is available worldwide at locations including Bergdorf Goodman, Colette, Harvey Nichols, Sak’s Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales, Moda Operandi, & Luisa Via Roma. His work has featured in publications such as Vogue Paris, W Magazine, The New York Times Style Magazine, Marie Claire, Allure, WWD and InStyle. Harris is also a 2017 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Finalist.
The core production team consists of Mykal Cushnie, director/editor, Gareth M Daley, director of photography, and Keneea Linton-George who as executive producer
The winner will have the incredible honour of presenting their collection during Paris Fashion Week (PFW), gaining exposure to international industry professionals, fashion influencers, and potential buyers.
