Mona High are the new ISSA Walker Cup champions following their 4-1 win over a wasteful Excelsior team at the National Stadium on Friday. 

Mona which relinquished their Manning Cup crown, added the second-tier Walker Cup to their trophy cabinet.

In 2023, the Craig Butler-coached Mona created history with their first Manning Cup title now another piece of history, capturing their first Walker Cup. 

Damarley Williams gave Excelsior High a 12th-minute lead before Carlton Brown fired Mona levelled in minute 34. 

But Excelsior got two clear-cut chances and should have been out of sight and paid for their profligacy in front of goal as Mona struck again, this time courtesy of Kshaine Gordon in the 52nd minute.

Marlon Cunningham then made the game safe for Mona, scoring in minute 55 before Gordon returned for his second, putting the icing on the cake in the 76th minute.
