After announcing that he welcomed another member to his family recently, 79-year-old American actor Robert De Niro shared a photograph of his baby girl Gia Virginia Chen-De Niro with CBS Morning co-host Gayle King.

The Godfather actor and his partner Tiffany Chen welcomed a 8 pound 6 ounce baby into the world on April 6.

De Niro kept the public talking after he made the big reveal during an interview with ET Canada about his upcoming movie About My Father and fatherhood.

While De Niro’s announcement took the public by surprise that he welcomed his seventh child at age 79, the actor said that his new born baby girl was planned.

Prior to revealing the photo of their new born, De Niro and Chen have managed to keep their relationship private eventhough they were spotted together publicly.
