The Jamaica Police Federation says it is now in search of a new general secretary.

According to the JPF executive, it will look to replace Corporal Arleen McBean, who no longer holds the position having been promoted to the rank of sergeant.

McBean was one of eight corporals who were promoted with effect on March 1.

Her promotion was promulgated in the police weekly ‘Force Orders’ on March 15.
