Jamaica’s Reggae Girlz skipper Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw scored in Manchester City Women’s 5-1 demolition of champions Chelsea, and 11 points clear at the top of the Barclays Women’s Super League in England.

Shaw, who scored the winner last week in City’s 2-1 victory over London City Lionesses, continued her rich vein of form, notching her 14th goal of the season in the 36th minute. She is on course to win her third Golden Boot award. Shaw won the award in 2024 after scoring 21 goals and in 2025 with 12 goals.

In Sunday’s game, Brazilian rising star Kerolin Nicoli scored a three-timer in the 13th,  49th, and 54th minutes while Vivianne Miedema completed the rout in the 72nd minute.

It was Manchester City’s 13th win from 14 games, and they moved to 39 points, 11 clear of Manchester United on 28 points. With eight games remaining, Manchester City look a safe bet to be crowned champions.

It was a significant win by City against the champions and laid down the gauntlet in no uncertain manner.
