Christmas holidays have been celebrated for decades. Over time, some have argued that the true meaning of the season has been dwarfed by new practices.
Christmas has always been many things – a time of reflection, as well as a time of great joy. After all, despite what now occurs, Christmas isn’t just about material gifts under the tree, shopping, eating or partying.
The season is about the greatest gift of all – God’s gift to his children.

The true meaning/origin of Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. It is a time to reflect on His life and what He did for the world on the cross. It is a time to remember and celebrate the gift of the Saviour.
If you’re drawn to reflection during this time of year, here are some of Bible scriptures you can meditate on.
