Remembering Dennis Brown set to take place on February 1

Jamaica is set to kickstart Reggae Month in fine style with the signature event, Remembering Dennis, on Wednesday (February 1) at the National Heroes Park.

The event is a tribute to the late Dennis Brown who is hailed as the Crown Prince of Reggae.

Patrons will be treated to an evening filled with reggae hits from the reggae legend and live performances from the saxophonist Dean Fraser and Chinna Smith & Inna Di Yard Bingistra.

The event will be hosted by Olivia Grange, minister of culture, fender, entertainment and Sports and is set to get under way at 3:00 pm.

Brown has made a valuable contribution to reggae music and is known for popular hits such as Here I Come, Revolution and Wolves and Leopards, among others.
