Scotiabank Jamaica has announced a series of in-branch transformations designed to enhance its client experience.
These changes form part of its ongoing commitment to make banking easier and more accessible for its clients.
“With our focus on being our clients’ primary financial service provider, we believe it’s not just about the products we offer, but the experience our clients have each time they interact with us,” said Perrin Gayle, Executive Vice President, Retail and Small Business. “Creating an atmosphere where our clients feel welcomed and at ease is essential,” he added.
The Scotiabank Portmore branch is one such location; spanning over 2,000 sq ft, it is one of twelve digital branches on the island.
It is also one of the five branches to have received recent upgrades. Clients can visit any of the renovated digital branches island-wide to access the ‘Social Zone,’ which is equipped with iPads for online banking services such as checking balances, transferring funds, and conducting other non-cash transactions. Clients also have access to four walk-ups and one drive-through ABM for their transaction needs.
Throughout the years, Scotiabank has supported its clients in transitioning to online banking through initiatives including digital banking days, digital Saturdays, and educational programs for seniors on accessing and safeguarding their accounts online.
The new minimalist layout features low barriers, high chairs, and hues of white and grey, complemented by locally curated art pieces.
These renovations are being done in tandem with upgrades to the bank’s ABM fleet and online and mobile banking platforms, ensuring that ongoing enhancements are being made at all client touch points to make banking with us even easier and more convenient.
