A second man, Odane Watson, has been charged for the murder of GC Foster College’s late vice principal, Gibbs Williams.

Forty-year-old Watson, otherwise called ‘Shortman,’ is a resident of Duff Street, Kingston 13. He was arrested and charged on Tuesday with murder, aiding and abetting robbery with aggravation, being a participant in a criminal organisation, making use of a firearm to commit a felony, possession of a prohibited firearm, and unauthorized possession of ammunition.

His court date is being arranged.

The first man charged is 21-year-old Jerome Hayles. The police are still pursuing more suspects.

Reports from the Area 5 Major Investigations Division are that the 55-year-old vice principal was leaving a hospital complex on October 6, when he was shot and killed. Williams was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
