Shenyeng and Hottie fans alike are now abuzz following Shenseea’s and Megan Thee Stallion’s release of the art work for their apparent song collaboration set to be released this Friday (January 21). 

The Jamaican DJ, who has been dubbed the princess of dancehall, uploaded a shared post with the rapper, of the single’s rather colourful cover art on Tuesday evening (January 18).  

The caption instructs fans to brace themselves in preparation for the song’s release.   

“Get ready!! We gonna go crazy this FRIDAY! @thestallion 🔥 #shenyengz #hotties 👅🐉 .”

The track, titled Lick, seems quite similar to Megan’s previous project, WAP with rapper Cardi B.  

The cover art sees both stars clad in multi-coloured one-piece suits, Shenseea with neon yellow hair, and Megan with a ponytail and bangs.  

The Good Comfort DJ, who also rocks neon yellow fishnet stockings and gloves, is seen in an arched pose alongside Megan, who is in an identical position.  

The post, which has garnered a little over half a million likes, has amassed over 10,000 comments with famous personalities such as Yendi Phillips, Taraji P. Henson and Winnie Harlow expressing their excitement around Lick‘s release.  

Fan @beatbyluca commented: “This is the best day of my life,” while another noted the pair are in a category of their own.  

This joint effort comes as no surprise as Megan last year revealed that she definitely wanted to collaborate with the Jamaican.

The pair have also recently been seen together at multiple events, one at which they were captured exchanging phone numbers.

This collaboration comes just months after Shenseea, who has been building her international brand, was featured on Kanye West’s Ok Ok pt. 2 and Pure Souls on the rapper’s Grammy-nominated Donda album.
