Artiste manager and entrepreneur Romeich Major’s public apology on Sunday, December 1, for an altercation at dancer Dancing Rebel’s birthday party that turned violent, was not well received by TikTok user TJ and his girlfriend, Moya.
The two, who were victims of the melee that began as a verbal exchange between TJ and Major on Saturday, November 30, say they are unwilling to forgive Major. The incident escalated into physical violence when men believed to be associated with Major attacked TJ.
Moya, who intervened to protect her partner, was also physically harmed.
“First ting, me apologise to TJ, and then mi ah go apologise to Moya. Second, mi apologise to the TikTok people who deh deh a hold a vibe, and third, mi want to apologise to mi fiancée and mi family because what I have done, I have seen it hurt a lot of people,” Major said on TikTok Live.
In a video shared online, TJ revealed he is unsure if he will ever forgive Major for the attack, while Moya declared, “Mi ago hate yuh fi life.”
Speaking tearfully in a recent vlog, Moya detailed the couple’s injuries, including a torn toenail and an ankle injury requiring a brace.
Major continued in his apology via Instagram, stating, “There is no justification for my actions. I acted out of poor judgement, and I deeply regret the pain and damage I have caused.”
Nicki Minaj took to Instagram to repost a video of Moya, showing her support for the TikToker.
TJ took to Instagram to thank the American rapper for her support, “Just want to say thank you @nickiminaj as moya and I need all the support we can get. Especially for Moya as she’s still traumatized and shaken up over the situation.”
Despite the apology, the victims remain resolute in their stance, citing the lasting physical and emotional impact of the incident.
Romeich has since archived all his previous Instagram posts, and his fiancée, Shacqueal Witter, deactivated her account.
