Akcayli, born in London, is of Vincentian and Turkish descent. He spent his early years living in Turkey until he moved to the Caribbean at age seven. He later pursued film studies at the New York Film Academy.

Tolga’s goal is to establish a production company that creates narrative, documentary, and TV series that focuses on Caribbean stories, culture, and history. Tolga believes it will create channels for international revenue while exporting Caribbean art, culture, and history that can be distributed worldwide.

The film is a crowdfunded project and needs support from the public to create a full-feature pilot episode.
