Illumination earlier today (October 6) released the official trailer for The Super Mario Bros. Movie on its YouTube page.

The trailer teased a story about the Nintendo mascot, Mario, voiced by Chris Pratt, and his journey through the in-game lore’s Mushroom Kingdom with his friend Toad on a quest to stop Bowser, voiced by Jack Black. Although concerns were raised about Pratt’s voice acting for the character, none of the concerns have manifested in the trailer.

The movie is based on the 37-year-old Mario franchise from Nintendo.
