US-based Jamaican reggae and dancehall artist Anthony “ASG” Grant is gearing up for his new single ‘Perfect’, his follow-up to his 2025 hit single ‘Stronger’. 

Set for release on July 10th, the track is a dancehall song for Grant’s female fans. 

Produced by Demone “Guxxie“ Gustavus for his Guxxie Music label alongside Grant’s ASG Records, ‘Perfect’ has all the right elements to captivate audiences worldwide. Though explicit in nature, Grant praises the fairer sex for their perfection as human beings without disrespecting or degrading them in any way, shape or form. 

“The inspiration behind ‘Perfect’ came from the fact that I want to highlight the independent women out there,” Grant stated.

“In addition, I want to compliment each and every woman by letting them know how perfect they are, regardless of their appearance. I also wanted to show my gratitude to the strong women out there,” he continued.  

Guxxie, who is based in Kingston, Jamaica, grew up with Grant in the same community and, since 2016, has worked together as co-producers on several projects. 

“Our first production was the Work Medz Riddim,” said Guxxie. 

“We both produced several artists like Blak Ryno, Devin Di Dakta, Artik and Xyclone. ‘Perfect’ is the first official single together with Anthony “ASG” Grant as the artist.”

Grant expounded, “Guxxie and I both lived on the same street. The chemistry for the song was literally “perfect”. Once Guxxie heard the melody, he was ready to produce the track.” 

“My expectations for ‘Perfect’ is that it will bring forth confidence amongst women worldwide. It will make women feel good about themselves and their achievements.”
