Chronic Law

The Jamaican dance hall artist Chronic Law, whose real name is Ackeem Campbell, has been detained in the United States. We are aware of the reports regarding Chronic Law’s detention in South Florida.

Word is quickly spreading that the detention has to do with a firearm. Chronic Law was performing in Miami.

This is the second time he has been detained by U.S. authorities; the first was when ICE held him over an immigration matter.

A Republican junior Congressman said, “These are exactly the kind of people we don’t want in America. We want upstanding law-abiding citizens. Jamaica has a huge crime problem, and we don’t want it imported here.

We negotiated with Ambassador Marks and came to an understanding, which we hear is causing controversy in Jamaica.  She signed it and Ambassador Marks can show you all the MOU and the plans she brought to us.

Jamaica is a friend to the United States and said it would gladly help with our TCN situation.

A spokesperson representing Chronic Law said, “At this time, I ask the public, members of the media, and fans to remain calm and allow the legal process to take its course. Our legal team is actively handling the matter, and I have full confidence that it will be addressed through the appropriate legal channels.

“Out of respect for the ongoing legal proceedings, we will not be making any further comments at this time. I kindly ask everyone to refrain from speculation or the spread of unverified information while this matter is being addressed.

“Chronic Law and our entire team sincerely appreciate the continued love, prayers, and unwavering support from fans around the world. We ask for your patience as we allow the legal process to unfold, and updates will be provided if and when it is appropriate to do so.”
