American television network BET Jams, which airs hip-hop and urban contemporary music videos, first premiered the fast-rising collaboration ‘This is How We Roll‘ by reggae heavyweights Buju Banton and Capleton last Saturday (July 20).

The track, produced by Grammy-winning producer BL tha Hook Slaya, is now a staple on BET Jams‘ mixtape video rotation.

‘This is How We Roll‘ song peaked at number three on the US iTunes reggae songs charts. It has also hit the NY Reggae songs charts. The single was produced by Hook Slaya Records and the single and video are being marketed by Contractor Music Marketing.

 The video was shot in Jamaica and directed by Courtney Panton.

Capleton remarked on the collaboration, stating: “This is a great collab. It’s all about the music. When you listen to this one you hear vibes and substance. It is an uplifting, authentic dancehall track. It reminds me of when mi just buss.”
