Busta Soft Drinks has delivered a thrilling experience to one lucky Jamaican through its ‘Hot Summer Wheels’ promotion.
The grand prize, a sleek 2023 Honda HRV, has found a new home with Martena Dawkins, a young Jamaican who entered the contest with a heartfelt mission.

With over 80,000 entries from Jamaica alone and a whopping 250,000 entries from across the Caribbean, the Hot Summer Wheels promotion, spanning 10 islands, captured the enthusiasm of participants seeking their chance at the coveted grand prize. Martena Dawkins, motivated by her mother’s previous success in winning a gift voucher from the same contest, submitted multiple entries daily to increase her odds of securing the top spot.
Dawkins, overwhelmed with joy, shared her reaction to the life-changing news. “I was at work when I got the call. When I heard that I won, I was overjoyed, jumping and screaming in shock. I’m very thankful to Busta for this; it’s definitely a life-changing experience and one I will never forget,” she expressed.

The grand prize handover took place last Friday, November 10, coincidentally marking Dawkins’ 20th birthday. The celebratory atmosphere was palpable as she received not only the keys to her new vehicle but also heartfelt congratulations from her mother and the entire Busta team. Alongside the car, over 100 weekly winners collectively received more than US$15,000 in cash and Amazon Gift cards during the nine-week promotion.
Chana Hay, general manager of Facey Commodity Co. Ltd, the makers and distributors of Busta Soft Drinks, Turbo Energy Drink, and Classic Soft Drink, emphasised the company’s commitment to giving back. Hay said, “In all, we gave away close to J$10million because we know the hardships families faced in preparation for back to school. We are excited and encouraged that our customers really got involved and took full advantage of the promotion.”

The Hot Summer Wheels promotion required consumers to purchase a bottle of Busta or Classic soft drink or Turbo energy drink and submit their name, mobile or telephone number, and the eight-digit code printed on the bottle to a WhatsApp number or via a website link.
“We made a lot of people happy over the 9 weeks of the promotion, and we are happy to be able to do that,” Hay concluded, highlighting the success and community engagement achieved through the campaign.

Busta Soft Drink, Turbo Energy drink, and Classic are distributed by Facey Commodity, a division of the Seprod Group of Companies, contributing to the vibrant and refreshing experience enjoyed by consumers in the Caribbean.
