The Clippers have officially parted ways with Chris Paul, sending the 12-time All-Star to the Toronto Raptors in a three-team trade that also involved the Brooklyn Nets.
While the Nets picked up Ochai Agbaji, a 2032 second-round pick, and cash, the Clippers secured draft rights to international guard Vanja Marinković.
But don’t expect Paul in a Raptors jersey anytime soon. Reports suggest Toronto may flip him again before the trade deadline or even release him entirely.
At 40, Paul had already said this would be his 21st and final NBA season.
His time with the Clippers ended quietly after tension with coach Ty Lue and other behind-the-scenes friction.

Even without a perfect ending in Los Angeles, Paul’s career remains legendary, loaded with All-Star nods, All-NBA honours, and a reputation as one of the game’s smartest floor generals.
Now, his future is wide open, and contenders are sure to watch closely, hoping to land the veteran guard for one last championship run.
