For many, creating new financial habits or upping one’s money management game is among the top five new year’s resolutions made each year.
As such, the new year presents the perfect opportunity for people to reset their finances and unlock financial freedom. As outlined by financial coach and CEO of MoneySmart Consultants Kaycier Grant-Clarke, “At the start of a new year individuals are typically introspective, paying keen attention to their goals, and so they usually have an extra drive towards realising their resolutions. However, to reset your finances and achieve your goals, persons need to combine this drive with a roadmap that provides clear strategies to build wealth and unlock financial freedom.”
Against this background, Grant-Clarke will on Thursday, January 23, host a free webinar titled ‘Reset Your Finances in 2025 & Unlock Financial Freedom’ at 7:00 pm. The event will see the financial coach bringing her over 20 years of experience in the financial sector to share practical pointers on crafting your budgeting, managing debt, building an investment portfolio, cultivating your money mindset and identifying innovative income-generating opportunities to achieve financial freedom.
Additionally, the online event will feature financial analyst, Clive Charlton, who will discuss the current economic landscape and highlight opportunities for investors in 2025. The webinar is designed to equip individuals with the tools, knowledge and confidence to take control of their financial future.
The financial coach admits that her passion for financial education was spurred from her years working in the local financial sector where she recognised that the average person could not maximise wealth-building opportunities because they lacked the necessary support and knowledge.
According to the Financial Literacy Around the World Report, conducted by Standard & Poor and World Bank, there is a low financial literacy rate among average Jamaicans, ranking Jamaica at 29 out of the 47 scores assigned to 142 countries. The report further stated that only 33 per cent of Jamaicans surveyed indicated that they had knowledge of basic financial principles.
“Having also experienced financial mishaps in my own life and using these same strategies that I will be sharing in the upcoming webinar to reset and recover; I know that these strategies are tried, tested and proven because I am a testament to it, and so are the other clients that I have coached,” Kaycier Grant-Clarke added explained.
She further noted, “I want to use the occasion to blend my expertise, experience and sincere commitment to help individuals to reset or level up so they can achieve their goals and make 2025 the best year yet.” MoneySmart Consultants is a boutique financial education company that provides workshops for corporate clients and personalized one-on-one coaching sessions, to empower individuals with the essential tools and knowledge to improve their money management and achieve clarity and confidence on their path to financial freedom.
