Naomi Osaka powered into the Wimbledon fourth round for the first time after a sharp 6-1 6-3 win over Daria Kasatkina that lasted just 65 minutes.
The former world number one, a four-time Grand Slam champion on hard courts, has often found grass a tougher puzzle to solve. But on Court One, she looked far more comfortable, dictating play from the start and never letting Kasatkina settle.
The 14th seed has been building momentum on the surface, having recently reached the last 16 at Roland Garros and made her first grass court final in Bad Homburg before retiring injured.
Back at Wimbledon, she has yet to drop a set and appears to be carrying that growing confidence into SW19 with ease.
Next up could be a high stakes clash with top seed Aryna Sabalenka if results go her way.
