Ending a two-week reprieve, petrol costs will trend higher island-wide following an updated pricing regimen by state-owned refinery Petrojam.

Rising $3.06 steeper than its baseline price last week, 87-octane gasolene will now open at $167.86 effective today (March 23).l

Price increases were consistent across the entirety of Petrojam’s closely watched petroleum product price index, with the rise most pronounced for 87- and 90-octane gasolene.
