Jamaican reggae sensation Romain Virgo has been named as the first-ever Johnnie Walker brand ambassador.

The announcement was made on February 29, as Virgo released his fourth studio album, ‘The Gentleman’ at AC Hotel poolside in New Kingston. It was no wonder that the prominent whiskey brand decided to name him as its first brand ambassador given that it’s a gentleman’s whisky and depicts a gentleman as its logo

The event, proudly sponsored by Johnnie Walker saw the attendance of multiple guest artistes, influencers and music adorers, who showed up in their numbers as Romain gave them a taste of what he deems as his “best work yet”.

There were soulful performances by artistes such as Ras-I, Christopher Martin and Jesse Royal. The AC Hotel poolside came to life with this album launch and the naming of Virgo as Johnnie Walker brand ambassador.
