New weekly Wednesday Night Shopping Experience
Suga Lifestyle’s new weekly Wednesday Night Shopping Experience – B A S E (also known as the Suga Lifestyle’s Belmont Artisan Shopping Experience) at Janga’s Sound Bar and Grill and the Suga Lifestyle’s Holiday Rush at The Liguanea Club was a success with some of the artisans from the Christmas Connection getting the opportunity to showcase their products and services at these additional events. The Marie Atkins Night Shelter, The Golden Age Homes in Denham Town and Cluster F in Vineyard Town, each facility with almost 100 residents, were treated with food and beverages, toiletries, clothing and medical supplies, aided by Sugar Lifestyle, the Prudential Foundation, National Bakery and Ayrtons Distributors.

Hundreds of National Bakery snacks were sent to Minister Floyd Green’s collection point at The Summit for Relief Items going to St. Elizabeth, as well as to The Belmont Academy in Westmoreland with The Rotary Club of Downtown, Kingston. Toys will go to the Mervis Braham Childcare Facility in St. James and Pringles Home in St. Mary, for the kids to look forward to enjoying this Christmas.
Suga Lifestyle’s CEO, Gabrielle Burgess commented, “I was happy to see the Terrace full of activity and was especially grateful for all who donated to the Toy Drive by the Kids Village and for all who came out to Yoga for Charity, which was filled to capacity. Proceeds from the flagship staging at The Jamaica Pegasus….In addition to the Holiday Rush Edition, sponsored by The Liguanea Club, allowed for Suga Lifestyle to add six major project donations to ongoing relief efforts since the passing of Hurricane Melissa. As persons affected in the West seek shelter, many have found their way to Kingston, doubling the number of residents in particular at The Marie Atkins Night Shelter in Downtown Kingston”.

Continuing Burgess said, “As the mission to recovery continues, Suga Lifestyle thanks all who have supported our Christmas Connection series, B A S E at Janga’s, made various donations and contributions. Jamaica Together. Sprinkle Christmas cheer. We shall rise again.”
