Upcoming reggae fusion artiste Joby Jay, is bringing her thoughts and experiences with love to the public with her debut EP Love Levels, a seven-track collection that she calls, “lessons about different stages, levels and types of love.”

The St. Ann native says she grew up in music as a young girl, even taking part in events such as JCDC before she moved to Kingston for university at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts.

“I didn’t study music at Edna, I actually studied photography,” revealed the young artiste.

She pointed out that she spent a lot of her time in addition to her studies, observing and learning from the music students and programmes at Edna.

It was during her time there that she found herself falling in love with music again, and began her journey as a musical artiste in 2019.

Undeterred by her covid induced struggles over the past few years, the young artiste is ready for the next step of her musical journey
