Hollywood couple Will Smith and Jada Pink-Smith have recently been the talk of the town.
Smith earlier this week released his memoir titled Will, where he expressed intricate details of his feelings towards Jada and her relationship with close friend, rapper/actor Tupac Shakur, who died after being shot in 1996.

The Men In Black actor admitted to having feelings of jealousy in the early stage of his relationship with Pinkett-Smith. Pinkett-Smith and Shakur attended The Baltimore High School of Arts together and shared a very close friendship, connecting over their passion for theatrical arts.
Over the years, many have speculated that the pair shared a romantic relationship, however, both publicly denied the speculation several times. Jada revealed that, just before his death, they were not on speaking terms as the two got into what she described as a ‘hardcore fight’.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star admitted to feeling tortured by the bond that Tupac and his wife shared.
“In the beginning of our relationship, my mind was tortured by their connection. He was ‘PAC! and I was me … though they were never intimate, their love for each other is legendary,” Will writes.
He also went on to highlight how different Tupac was from him, saying the now-deceased rapper had a “fearless passion” and “militant morality”, comparing this to his own inability to stand up to his father with whom he shared an unstable relationship. He likened his brother Harry to the late rapper, as he was usually the one to stand up to their abusive father.

Will writes: “[Tupac] was like Harry, triggered the perception of myself as a coward. … I hated that I wasn’t what he was in the world, and I suffered a raging jealousy.”
He adds: “I wanted Jada to look at me like that.”
He further noted that his feelings of jealousy would subside and he would feel an odd happiness whenever the actress would choose him instead of Shakur and when they both started spending more time together. Will mentions that there were occasions he would share the same space as Shakur, but due to his overriding jealousy, never spoke to him, describing himself at that time as ‘immature’.
